Lovingly-restored in 2013, this historical colonial inn bed & breakfast in Lancaster County is the perfect romantic getaway. Its 6 individually-themed rooms and suites are tastefully decorated with carefully-selected treasures. Relax in the front parlor by the fireplace and enjoy a game of chess or a good book! Built in 1777, this beautiful building was the original home to Master Tall Cabinet Clock Maker, Jacob Gorgas. The history does not stop there! Once a millinery shop, a trolley stop, doctor’s offices, and more, the Inn has its own stories to share.

Nestled in the heart of Ephrata, PA, you will find yourself torn between choosing one of the four rooms inside the Inn or the wonderfully-appointed Carriage House Jacuzzi suites, tucked into the back of the property. On-Site Craft Brewery

Exciting things are “brewing” at our Lancaster County Bed and Breakfast! The owners of the 1777 Americana Inn, Denise and Bob Harter, proudly welcome you to their on-site Black Forest Brewery, LLC. This wonderfully warm and cozy pub offers craft beer brewed by Bob. It also has a selection of local wines, cocktails, and delicious food. We’re the only bed and breakfast in Lancaster that has an on-site craft brewery.

Gardens and Patio

Take your breakfast out to the beautiful brick patio and enjoy the songbirds under the shelter of white pine and hemlock trees. From the Japanese Magnolia tree in full bloom in Spring to the firepit complete with Adirondack chairs and fleece blankets, you’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful English gardens during your stay.
