Artist’s Inn & Gallery

The Artist’s Inn is a romantic bed and breakfast located in the small town of Terre Hill, amid the Amish and old-order Mennonite farmlands in northeastern Lancaster County. Stroll through our gardens or relax on the porches or by the fire pit.  Listen to the clip-clop of the horse-drawn buggies as they pass by the inn.

The Inn is a Federal-style home built in 1848.

Here you’ll find three guest rooms along with the Sisters House two units – the Sophie and the Stella. You can compare the distinctive features of these different accommodations. Rooms feature private baths, massage showers, whirlpool tubs, and fireplaces.

The Inn has received a number of top reviews and commendations the last few years for our lodging and for the caliber of the food we serve because of our conservation efforts.

Bruce and Jan Garrabrandt welcome you to our inn. We moved to the Pennsylvania Dutch Country in 1996 to open a bed and breakfast.

Bruce is a full-time artist. His specialty is detailed colored pencil drawings. His art gallery is inside the inn.  Bruce is also the author of 11 books.

Jan loves cooking. You’ll see that when you sit down for breakfast! She also loves gardening. Her flowerbeds surround the Inn.

Breakfasts are special at the Artist’s Inn. Every morning, guests are treated to a different gourmet breakfast. It includes freshly baked pastry, fruit appetizer, entrée, and dessert.  House specialties include blueberry scones, oatmeal soufflé, omelets over avocado toast, and inn-made turkey sausage.

Everything is made from scratch. You’ll find some of our recipes here.

You won’t get bored when you visit here. There are plenty of things to do during your stay at Artist’s Inn. We offer our guests discount tickets to Sight & Sound Theatre. Plus, The Artist’s Inn offers our list of recommended restaurants
