January Show Schedule for American Music Theatre

American Music Theatre is the place to go in Lancaster County to see more than 300 live concerts and performances each year.  In the past they’ve hosted CMA winners, Tony winners, Grammy winners and even Oscar winners.  The variety of shows range from comedy club performers to Broadway shows to today’s hottest country music concerts and rock concerts.

Many of the shows sell out quickly, so check their schedule regularly to see when tickets go on sale.  During the month of January there are six shows scheduled. Take a look and see what may be of interest to you.

 

Mike Albert’s Elvis Gospel Show

It’s no secret “The King” loved gospel music.  In fact, the three wins of Elvis’ 14 Grammy nominations were for gospel recordings, including the album How Great Thou Art. Elvis Birthday Bash

AMT welcomes back perennial favorites Scot Bruce and Mike Albert who perform as the younger and older Elvis, respectively.  They are widely considered the premier Elvis impersonators of our time.  Scot Bruce’s Elvis act is revered all over the world.  Mike Albert has been featured on Oprah Winfrey and Inside Edition, and often appears with Elvis’ original group, the Jordanaires.  Find out more »

Kashmir – The Live Led Zeppelin Tribute Show

Formed in 2001, Kashmir seeks to re-create the experience of a 1970s Led Zeppelin show utilizing authentic vintage stage gear, costumes, and special effects, paying great attention to detail.  Kashmir strives to replicate the music of Led Zeppelin by using only the equipment of the era, and reproduces the sound dead on with great respect and admiration.  Find out more »

O'Conner Band American Music TheatreThe O’Connor Band with Mark O’Connor

The O’Connor Band, featuring iconic fiddler and composer Mark O’Connor, puts on an engaging, dynamic show showcasing compelling arrangements, virtuosic solos, and tight vocal harmonies.  Their debut album, Coming Home, reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart in 2016 and won the 2017 Grammy award for Best Bluegrass Album.  Find out more »

The Man in Black offers a retro look, sound, and feel into the performance of American icon, Johnny Cash, and delivers the raw prowess that made Cash a 20th century pop culture figure, while capturing his ability to cross musical genres, age, and ethnic barriers.
