West Lampeter Community Fair

The West Lampeter Community Fair, known as a “senior citizen” of Lancaster County fairs, has been “Rooted in Agriculture and Community” since 1924. Originally a vocational school project display, this strictly educational three-day event in Lampeter eschews typical carnival rides and midways for a focus on rural heritage.

Managed by a board of 45 volunteers, the fair features livestock shows, tractor games, and a famous baby parade. A signature highlight is the Community Fair Restaurant and food stands operated by local organizations like the Garden Spot FFA. Admission and parking remain free, preserving a wholesome, neighborly atmosphere for all ages.

The 2026 West Lampeter Community Fair is scheduled for September 23 – 25, 2026.
