The last Saturday in November is Small Business Saturday. This special day is designed to support small business retailers around the country. And there are 100’s of small retailers who call Lancaster County home.

The large box stores get all the attention and the publicity. But it is the small businesses that help to keep our economy afloat.

The National Retail Federation reports that small businesses provide 55% of all jobs and 66% of all new jobs in America. It is reported that 70% of sales to local small businesses stays local, while only 40% of sales by large retailers does. So, by supporting small retailers, you are supporting the local economy.
