At the Bird-in-Hand Bakery & Cafe, our cafe menu includes delicious handcrafted sandwiches, crisp salads, soups, smoothies and delectable desserts.

Be sure to savor a scoop of premium hand-dipped artisan ice cream made on the premises with local fruits and all-natural flavorings. We craft it by hand in small batches in a variety of favorite flavors, some of which include stir-ins from our own bakery like whoopie pies and pumpkin pie crust.

Our bakery has been in business for generations. We still make many of our baked goods from scratch, including some from Grandma Smucker’s original recipes. We’re famous for wet-bottom shoofly pies, whoopie pies, giant apple fritters, pumpkin pies, birthday cakes, donuts, and other Pennsylvania Dutch favorites.
