In northwestern Lancaster County, sits the two small towns of Mount Joy and Elizabethtown. Both of these classic American towns have lots of historic buildings. Elizabethtown College is a private liberal arts college in the downtown area. Amtrak has a train station in Mount Joy and another train station in Elizabethtown, making them easily accessible for those traveling to Lancaster County.
Elizabethtown is a less than 20-minute drive to Harrisburg International Airport (HIA/MDT) and a quick 30-minute drive to the center of Pennsylvania’s capital city (Harrisburg).
