Patriotic Fireworks Celebration – Long’s Park Summer Music Series

The U.S. Army Band Pershing’s Own has played patriotic music since its inception in 1922. Its performance is consistently one of Long’s Park’s most popular Summer Music Series events, having attracted as many as 25,000 spectators in years past.

Now in its 60th season, the Summer Music Series is regarded as a top musical entertainment destination in one of the best outdoor venues in Central PA. These free concerts are made possible through the generosity of individuals and corporate partners. Proceeds from the Long’s Park Art Festival are the other important component to our funding process. People power pulls it all together! Through the efforts of hundreds of volunteers and guided by a dedicated Board of Directors, the Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation is excited to offer these outstanding performances.
