The Strasburg Rail Road, America’s oldest Short Line Rail Road, is proud to announce the return of A Great Train Robbery: The Bonnie & Clyde Experience as this summer’s flagship stunt spectacular entertainment. The Strasburg Rail Road’s Bonnie & Clyde Experience, takes place in multiple locations — in the “town square,” on the historic train, and in the picturesque fields in the heart of Amish country.

The small town of Strasburg, Pennsylvania is too busy celebrating its illustrious Mayor and his wife when the infamous crime duo and their gang race into town as they try to flee law enforcement. Soon after they arrive the local bank is robbed, someone is kidnapped, and general mayhem ensues – both on and off the train. This exciting, one-of-a-kind experience includes stunts, pyrotechnics, and more. Be a part of the festivities, help our officers save the day, and bring the crime duo to justice.

The Bonnie & Clyde Experience features a c.1930s costumed professional cast of eight (8) actors who have performed around the world with companies including Royal Caribbean Cruises, Holland America Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Broadway Asia, and Live Nation Concerts, and/or locally at Lancaster’s American Music Theatre, Sight & Sound Theatre, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, the historic Fulton Theatre, the Magic & Wonder Theatre, and more.

A pre-boarding act/performance will commence 15 minutes before departure. Please plan to arrive early for check-in and then enjoy the pre-boarding performance before you embark on a memorable journey!

What Happens if it Rains? While the Strasburg Rail Road prides itself on running rain or shine, the added component of a professional cast performing stunts, falls, and actions outside in the elements pose a unique safety hazard during significant inclement weather. The show may need to be altered to maintain the safety of our guests, actors, and crew. We will make every safe and possible effort to perform the event as scheduled.
