Christmas Light Train Ride at Stone Gables

Introducing, for the very first time, a festive and narrated train excursion through the center of Stone Gables Estate’s beloved Christmas Light Drive Thru!

All aboard the fully decorated “Little General” known as the Harrisburg, Lincoln, and Lancaster railroad! Featured is a replica of an 1868 steam locomotive, pulling replicas of an 1848 Pioneer Coach and a mid-1860’s Combine & Day Coach. Sing along with your favorite Christmas tunes as they are broadcast throughout the passenger coaches as you make your way through Stone Gables Estate Christmas lights featuring 1.2 million Christmas Lights!

Watch the eyes of children and adults light up when St. Nick makes a surprise visit and hands each child a gift. Pictures are welcome! Sneak a peek during the stop at Santa’s Toy Shop in the Engine House. It is beautifully decorated for Christmas.

NEW This Year!

The new track expansion will double the length of the current track. The train will cross over a 400 foot, newly built, wooden open deck trestle. New Star Barn Platform will be opening this Christmas season! Expect new traffic patterns and parking locations.

Please note, guests planning on coming to the Christmas Village (on select dates), it concludes promptly at 3:30pm due to evening events. Guest MUST exit the property at 3:30 before re-entering for your train ride.
