Flights to Lancaster, PA

There are two local airports serving Lancaster – the Lancaster Airport and the Smoketown Airport in Bird-in-Hand. Both are smaller, serving mostly private and chartered flights. (Even though it has limited commercial flights, the Lancaster Airport is still the fourth busiest airport in Pennsylvania.)

For commercial flights to this area, you’ll probably fly into either the Harrisburg International, Baltimore Washington International (BWI), or Philadelphia International airports. Then, it’s a comfortable drive to your destination in Lancaster. (See below.)

Trains to Lancaster, PA

For train travel, the Lancaster Amtrak station is right in downtown Lancaster and is on the main line from Philadelphia to Harrisburg and Pittsburgh (known as the Keystone Corridor). There are daily trains from Harrisburg, Philadelphia, New York City, and Pittsburgh, as well as connecting trains from other locations served by Amtrak.
