Spend the Night on a 200-Year Old Lancaster County Farm

Leaman’s Lodging Guest House is a private guest home built in 1973 to welcome guests to Lancaster County.

Built next to the family farmhouse, you can hear off in the distance the clip-clop sound of horse’s hooves as buggies pass by the farm. From the porch of the house, guests can enjoy beautiful, peaceful panoramic views of Amish farmlands and breath-taking sunsets.

Guests love the peaceful atmosphere and often enjoy peaceful walks to the neighboring Amish farms. Also within walking distance are local schoolhouses and roadside stands, and the Leola Produce Auction.

Inside, guests enjoy the country’s comfort of the house. There are five different guest rooms. You can see pictures and descriptions of each. You can check room rates here. Your hosts are John and Nancy Leaman. They are both from Swiss-German Mennonite families that have been farming in Lancaster County since the 1700s. Good hospitality is important to them, so they will do their best to make your stay here an enjoyable one.  They have a high rate of return visits from happy customers.

The farm is located between Leola and Brownstown along Route 772 in eastern Lancaster County. You get the best of both worlds here: a quiet, rural location on a farm away from all the traffic and noise of city life, yet you’re only 10 miles from Lancaster city, Sight & Sound Theatre, and Shady Maple Smorgasbord.
