At Hands-on House, Children Can Play and Learn
Hands-on House Children’s Museum of Lancaster is designed for kids ages 2 – 10 years old and their parents, grandparents, or caregivers. It features a series of self-directed exhibits where children and adults can learn and play together. Adults are encouraged to let their kids take the lead and use their imagination. This is a world where kids can still be kids but can learn while exploring, creating, experimenting, and having fun in a safe, hands-on environment. During the warmer weather months, the museum also invites visitors to explore Mason’s Action Adventure Garden, a unique outdoor exhibit that combines areas for active play, connecting to nature, playing together, and using your imagination.
Hours and Admission
Hands-on House is open seven days a week. You can check daily hours here. Generally, late afternoons tend to be less busy.
There is an admission charge for children and adults. Become an annual member and receive unlimited admission for one year as well as discounts to classes, camps and select events. Hands-on House accepts cash, checks, and credit card (Visa and MasterCard). Gift passes are also available.
