Historic Rock Ford

Historic Rock Ford

Historic Rock Ford is the 33 acre estate of Revolutionary War General Edward Hand. It offers guided tours of the circa 1794 Hand Mansion as well as the opportunity to visit the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery of Early Lancaster County Decorative Arts located in a re-constructed 18th century barn.

In downtown Lancaster is the country’s oldest continually operated public farmers’ market – since 1730. Over 60 local standholders offer fresh baked goods, produce, meat, cheeses, beverages, soup, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, crafts, and more. This gathering place is open Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from  6 am - 3 pm.
