Chickies Rock Overlook Trail

This trail runs from Route 441 west through Chickies Rock County Park and ends with a breathtaking overlook of the Susquehanna River from Chickies Rock. Visit Website

Conestoga Trail

This long trail starts along Route 322 (E. 28th Division Highway) north of the PA Turnpike, crosses over Speedwell Forge north of Lititz, follows Hammer Creek to Akron, then follows Cocalico Creek and the Conestoga River to Lancaster County Park (which hosts a number of trails). From there the Conestoga Trail heads south and west toward Pequea, Holtwood,  and the Susquehanna River.  (Better pack a lunch!).  The Conestoga Trail also passes five covered bridges along the way. Enola Low Grade Trail

This trail begins in Atglen (S. Bridge Street just south of Upper Valley Road), runs past Quarryville to the Susquehanna River, then heads north along the river, ending at Wissler’s Run near Route 441 south of Washington Boro.  Learn more

Ephrata to Warwick Rail Trail

This rail trail begins along Shaeffer Aly in downtown Ephrata, and heads southwest out of Ephrata to join with the Conestoga Trail at Millway Road. It runs north as part of the Conestoga Trail until it breaks off on its own at Picnic Woods Road (near Millway Road), just west of Akron. From there it continues across Newport Road and Clay Road and ends at N. Oak Street in Lititz. The Lititz-Warwick Trailway runs off this trail. See Map Here

Horse Shoe Trail

This long trail extends from Valley Forge, past Adamstown and Denver in northen Lancaster County, through Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, Mt. Gretna, Colebrook, and between Hershey and Palmyra on its way north to the Appalachian Trail just west of Indiantown Gap.  See map

Lancaster County Central Park

Lancaster Junction Recreation Trail

This trail runs from Champ Road (off Spooky Nook Road) north to the railroad tracks near the intersection of Auction Road and Warehouse Road, just south of Manheim.

Landis Woods Trail

There is a parking lot on the south side of Landis Valley Road just east of Fiddler’s Green Road. This trail extends west almost to Landis Woods, and south to Delp Road.

Lebanon Valley Rail Trail

This rail trail begins at Chestnut Street in downtown Lebanon just west of S. 12th Street, runs through Cornwall and Mt. Gretna, and ends at Route 230 near Industrial Road just west of Elizabethtown.

Lititz-Warwick Trailway

This trail starts from the Ephrata to Warwick Rail Trail (east of Lititz near Pebble Creek Drive) and heads north to Newport Road.

Mason Dixon Trail

This trail begins across from the Brandywine River Museum on the west side of the Brandywine Creek just off Route 1 in Chadds Ford, PA. It passes through Newark, De and Elkton and North East, MD before it crosses the lower Susquehanna River between Perryville and Havre De Grace. From there it follows the west bank of the Susquehanna River to north of York, PA. Between Mt. Wolf and York Haven it bends west to Gifford Pinchot State Park, then continues west until it ends at the Appalachian Trail west of Dillsburg.

Northwest River Trail

This trail begins at Columbia Crossing adjacent to the Route 462 bridge and heads north through Chickies Rock County Park and passes below the Chickies Rock Overlook. From there it follows the Susquehanna River past Marietta and Bainbridge and ends at Collins Road, just off Route 441.

Overlook Park Trails

Overlook Park in Manheim Township is between Lititz Pike and Fruitville Pike, just south of Delp Road.  There are a number of hiking and biking paths within the park, along Granite Run Drive, and across Fruitville Pike and long Route 283.

Speedwell Forge Park Trails

With parking along Speedwell Forge Road just north of Lake View Drive, this trail extends west to Oak Lane and back again.

Turkey Hill Trail

Warwick Township Linear Park Trail

1.2 mile long trail that runs north and south of Newport Road between Furnace Hills Pike and Snyder Hill Road.
