Join us for our 2nd Annual End of Summer Concert – a celebration sure to lift your spirits and leave you inspired!
This memorable event is free with your train ticket, making it an accessible way to bid farewell to summer. This year, we’re closing out the season with the soul-stirring sounds of uplifting Gospel music, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Madison Copeland as our featured artist. Madison is not only a passionate Christian artist and worship leader but also a craftsman of unforgettable musical moments. His unique blend of contemporary worship and rich gospel roots will create an atmosphere brimming with faith, hope, and a sense of community. His performances are more than just music; they’re heartfelt journeys that linger long after the final note. Having shared stages with renowned artists like Dee Daniels and benefiting from the mentorship of the late Parris Bowens, Madison brings a unique and vibrant energy to every performance. Whether on a church platform, concert stage, or recording, his purpose remains consistent: to create environments where lives are transformed through worship.
Opening the concert is Kenneth Johnson Sr. & Friends, bringing a rich history of music and ministry. Kenneth’s journey in music and ministry spans decades, filled with harmony and dedication. Growing up in a musically gifted family, music was a natural part of his life. In 1986 Kenneth began playing piano for the legendary gospel group, The Gospel Souls. A few years later, he also joined the group as a vocalist. His talents as a pianist and vocalist left an indelible mark on the East Coast gospel scene for over thirteen years. As the Minister of Music at Metropolitan-Zion United Methodist Church for more than twenty years, Kenneth has inspired countless choirs and nurtured future musicians, empowering them to find their own voices. His dedication to faith and music is unwavering, and his journey is a lively symphony of service through music and faith. With humility and enthusiasm, Kenneth knows his journey is far from over, and he’s ready to share his heart for worship with each of you during our End of Summer Gospel concert!
We invite you to come and let the music lift your spirits as we celebrate the end of summer together with an evening of Intentional Worship!
