Manheim Community Farm Show

The Manheim Community Farm Show exists to promote agriculture, crafts and competition in a friendly environment that encourages family values and cooperation. We have chosen to keep the policy of free admission and free registration for all exhibits. We do not have games of chance as many fairs do, to provide operating revenues. As you visit the Farm Show, we encourage you to support the food stands, which are operated by nonprofit organizations in our community. A percentage of the food stand profits provide our source of operating revenue. Bring your family and join us for this great event that brings our community together. Consider what we believe to be the positive strengths of the Manheim Community Farm Show.

Saturday, October 7. 2017 
7:00 p.m. – Gospel Concert – The Browns will be held at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church

Sunday, October 8, 2017
2:00-5:00 p.m. ONLY – Enter Exhibits in Farm Show Building. No commercial exhibits
2:00-5:00 p.m. All rabbits and cavies must be entered.
2:00 p.m. – FFA Chapter tractor driving contest
2:00-5:00 p.m. – All models, artwork and woodwork must be entered

Monday, October 9, 2017 
7:00-10:00 a.m. – Deadline to enter Exhibits in Farm Show Building (except baked goods)
Models, Artwork & Woodworking Sunday Only
12:00 noon. – All judging Monday afternoon except Livestock & Baked Goods
2:30 p.m. – Swine Judging
5:45-6:45 p.m. – Kaitlyn Carolina Myers will perform on the stage at the exhibition center
6:15 p.m. – Baby Parade
6:30 p.m. – Antique Tractor Demonstration at the Ball Field
6:45 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies
7:00 p.m. Crowning of Farm Show Royalty
7:00-9:00 p.m. – Baked Good Entries Received
8:00 p.m. – Firemen’s Challenge (local volunteer fire fighters in friendly competition)

9:30 a.m. – FFA Greenhand Livestock Judging and County Tractor Driving
8:00-10:00 a.m. – Deadline for Baked Goods
12:00 p.m. – Baked Goods Judging
1:00 p.m. – Rabbit Show
2:00 p.m. – Dairy Beef Judging
5:00 p.m. – Beef Judging
6:15 p.m. – Rain Date for Baby Parade
6:15 p.m. – Bake Sale
6:15 p.m. – Registration for Pedal Tractor Pull
(Deadline is 6:45 p.m. for children’s classes)
6:45 p.m. – Children’s, Youth, Ladies’ and Men’s Pedal Tractor Pull
