The Huns have invaded

Take a journey to ancient China in this adaptation of Disney’s Oscar-nominated 1998 animated film. Disney’s Mulan Jr. is playing at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre May 21 – June 21, 2019. Based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan and the story of “Fa Mulan” by Robert D. San Souci, the adaptation mixes songs featured in the 1998 film, as well as deleted songs from the film, including the revival songs written by Stephen Schwartz.

The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous dragon sidekick, Mushu, to save the Emperor! Defying the village matchmaker, Mulan takes up arms and disguises herself as a boy in order to spare her father from having to serve in the army. As the great battle with the Huns approaches, Mulan must choose between revealing her true identity as a girl or saving all of China with her clever plan.
