Hallelujah Chorus Flash Mob – Lancaster’s Central Market

The Central Market in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania is often mobbed with shoppers.  But on Saturday, December 17, 2011 it was flash mobbed as a group of local choir members descended on the market to sing Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus”.

America’s oldest farmer’s market is located in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Dating back to the 1730’s. the Central Market is a cultural icon in Lancaster.  Here shoppers can find all kinds of local food, including produce, meats, cheese, and baked goods, plus crafts, gifts, and souvenirs
