Don’t miss Camelot onstage at Dutch Apple

Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre is thrilled to present Camelot May 9 – June 22, 2019. King Arthur, Guenevere, Sir Lancelot and the Knights of the Round Table hit the stage with a mystical, medieval tale of love, chivalry and treachery. Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe (My Fair Lady, Brigadoon) team up for this magical musical for all ages.

An idealistic young King Arthur hopes to create a kingdom with the Knights of the Round Table who fight for justice and right. His lovely queen Guenevere, falls in love with his favorite knight, Lancelot and the fate of the kingdom hangs in the balance. Hear hits like If I Ever Would Leave You, I Loved You Once in Silence and of course, Camelot.

He was also recently seen at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre as Ralph Sheldrake and Bob Wallace understudy in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Thomas Henke, who was last seen in My Fair Lady, will also return to Dutch Apple to play the role of Lancelot.

The role of Guenevere will be played by newcomer Catherine Calloway. She most recently played Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Additional recent credits include Emily Webb in Our Town, Marta in Company and Stevie in The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?.

Dean Sobon is back to direct this production. The recent hilarious murderous comedy Lucky Stiff was also directed by Sobon. His other recent credits include the national tours of The Wizard of Oz, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Fiddler on the Roof, along with Clue, the Musical, West Side Story, Oklahoma! and Crazy for You, among others.
