The holiday season is right around the corner, and Lancaster County is preparing for festivities with twinkle lights, hot cocoa, and Christmas trees! To get your family into the holiday spirit, we have highlighted a few local activities you can enjoy throughout November and December.

 

Mayor’s Tree Lighting – November 24, 2023

On November 24, 2023, peruse the shops downtown for Black Friday deals and then head to Penn Square to enjoy live music and see Lancaster City’s mayor, Danene Sorace, light up the magnificent Christmas Tree. Christmas Lights Clipper Magazine Stadium

As you journey through the mile-long track, tune into the Clipper Magazine radio as you are surrounded by hundreds of thousands of color-changing lights, animated and dancing in harmony with your favorite Christmas classics. Meet Santa at Dutch Wonderland

Dutch Wonderland hosts one-on-one meetings with Santa throughout December, where young visitors can tell Santa what is on their wish list while enjoying some tasty treats. In the evening, Dutch Wonderland transforms into a spectacular twinkle light display, where visitors can drive through a dazzling display of Christmas lights twinkling along to holiday tunes.

 

White Christmas Fulton Theater

Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features 17 Irving Berlin songs, including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” and, of course, “White Christmas.” Running from November 17- December 31, The Fulton’s production is an uplifting musical celebrating family, holiday traditions, and counting your blessings.
