We had a wonderful stay at Beacon Hill the 10-13 May. The campground is very nice and very clean. The staff was so friendly and help us with a flat tire. I really love this campground. We will be back and hopefully rain will not be on the radar. Love the area!

My wife and I are thinking of visiting your area in April of this year. I see that your campground is within walking distance of Intercourse but are there any other places to visit close by? We have a motorhome and we don’t tow a car. We use bicycles to get around or use public transportation. Is there bus or other types of public transportation available in your area?

    • Hi Gary,
Thank you for your question. Our campground is 3/4 of a mile from the Village of Intercourse. In the village there is bus transportation to other cities around us. Bird-In-Hand is accessible by bicycle too and is right down the road from Intercourse. If you have any other questions please feel free to email us directly at
      Thank you!!

I was traveling three years ago and came across this wonderful quite campground. It was my husbands birthday weekend and the owners were a pleasure to camp from. They gave my husband a coffe cup which we have today. It was a wonderful experience and glad to say we are planning to go back in the next few months to share his birthday again with a wonderful place and kind people. We cannot wait. See you all soon.
