At the National Watch and Clock Museum you’ll find a fascinating collection over 12,000 clocks, watches, specialized tools, and other items related to time-keeping. This is the largest horological collection in North America. (Horology is the science of timekeeping.)

Learn the fascinating history of timekeeping devices, from ancient, non-mechanical devices to today’s atomic and radio-controlled clocks.

The museum includes a variety of interactive exhibits as you wind your way through its varied collections. They have timepieces from ancient times to the most modern clocks – English tall case clocks, American watches and clocks, even international time-keeping devices from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Japan, China, and Russia.
