At Hands-on House, Children Can Play and Learn

This is a world where kids can still be kids, but can learn while playing. Bring your children here and let them unleash their imagination while they explore the exhibits and educational programs.

Hands-on House is designed for children 2-10 years old. And their parents or care-givers. It features a series of self-directed exhibits where adults and children can learn and play together. Adults are encouraged to let their kids take the lead and use their imagination.

Events & Classes for Kids

Hands-on House has special events and activities taking place all the time. Check their ongoing events calendar to see what’s going on.

Hands-on House offers a series of small group classes for 2-3 year olds and for 3-6 year olds. Get registration information here.

Hands-on HouseHours and Admission

Hands-on House is open all week.  You can check daily hours here. Generally, late afternoons tend to be less busy.

There is an admission charge for adults and for children.   However, if you become a Member, admission is free! They accept checks, Visa, and MasterCard. And your admission is good for the entire day. So you can run out for lunch and return for more fun afterward.

The volunteer program at Hands-on House is a great way for teens to gain work experience and learn responsibility. See their volunteer page for details.

And donations are always welcome from individuals and businesses. Hands-on House is a not-for-profit organization that depends upon community support.
