Stop in and say ‘Hello’ to the miniature horses at the Amish farm of Henry & Linda Stoltzfus, situated just outside of Strasburg. Our miniature horses are gentle, friendly, and waiting to be petted. Our free petting zoo includes miniature horses, pygmy goats, and alpacas. You can feed them, too.
We’re open Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays and Christian holidays). Buses are welcome, too. The Lil’ Country Store accepts all major credit cards.
Our barn offers 10 stalls of miniature horses waiting to greet you. Henry has crafted the stalls so that each has a large hole cut in the door. It’s quite a sight to turn the corner and see all these little heads peeking out at you! The design of the stalls offers ample opportunity to pet the horses and have your picture taken with them.
We also offer saddle rides and cart rides with our miniatures. Small children will love this opportunity to ride or ride behind one of our miniature horses. While in the barn, you can also view Henry and Linda’s team of driving horses, as well as their buggy.
This is a unique experience for every member of your family. There is no admission fee to tour the horse barn. There is a small charge for the rides.
We are open Monday through Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm (closed Sundays).
For a hands-on experience, where you truly interact with our horses, we offer one hour scheduled sessions on our family farm. It’s fun for the entire family and includes:

The baskets are even signed and dated, and the age of the weaver is noted on the bottom!
Next door to our horse barn is our Country Woodshop, where you can often see Henry and his sons building hand-crafted furniture and other wood products.
Save room for our variety of homemade canned and baked goods. We offer a delicious selection of home-cooked Amish foods. Samples are available.
