Local Congregation Offers Contemplative Art Exhibition for Passion Week

Hosanna A Fellowship of Christians is offering “A Contemplative Suffering” is a guided exhibition utilizing visual art as a platform to engage both God and self through an interactive experience. This Passion Week reflection will comprise six stations comprised of original artwork by local artist Daniel Buffenmeyer. The pieces are based on the ancient of looking inward in order to balance the outward. The theme of this guided exhibit will explore aspects of the “suffering servant” depiction of Christ found in Isaiah 53. All are welcome to attend this free event hosted by Hosanna A Fellowship of Christians, 29 Green Acre Rd, Lititz. The exhibition is self-guided and open to the public during the following hours:
Thursday, April 14, Noon to 8 pm, Friday, April 15, Noon to 8 pm, Saturday, April 16, 9 am to Noon.
Buffenmeyer is a faith-based visual artist who exhibits locally and works from a small studio located in the Lebanon countryside.
