Annual NYE Celebration

Come celebrate New Years Eve 2017 in downtown Kennett Square with family and friends!  Weather permitting (no wind) the lighted Mushroom will be raised 100′ above the center of State & Union Streets.

CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER – 6:30 PM the doors open at The Garage on S. Union Street for Children’s Entertainment by Dan & Gala (Favorites at The Mushroom Festival’s Children’s Stage).  Kennett Brewing will be serving Food, Beer & Wine also beginning at 6:30 PM.

On The Roll Food Truck will be serving food and drinks this year.

Parking is available at Exelon Way off E. Baltimore Pike and Kennett High School with free shuttle buses running from 6 pm to 1 am

Public Safety:  there are regulations on open containers in the Borough of Kennett Square.  Open container laws refer to anything regulating open alcohol containers in public or in vehicles. Adherence to the local laws is mandatory and will be enforced.  Bags will be checked at entrances.  No Back Packs allowed.

The event is a joint venture of the Kennett Area Restaurant and Merchants Associationand  Mushroom Festival, a nationally-recognized annual event held in September, always the weekend after Labor Day.
