Hands-on-House Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Races

This year’s race will be held on Saturday, September 24^th.

It’s race day for Hands-on-House Children’s Museum of Lancaster. This year there will be three different races from which to choose:

• Half marathon – A USATF-certified 13.1 course through the scenic Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The course will take participants past a one-room Amish school and over a covered bridge.
• 10K race –
• 5K race – Join our 5K course through nearby neighborhoods.

The race begins at 8:00am am Saturday. Walkers are welcome for all three events.  All proceeds will benefit Hands-on House. Registration – You can register online or you’ll find a mail-in registration form when you visit the Hands-on House website. There are discounted rates for registering in advance. • Half-Marathon – $55-$70 in advance or $75 on event day.
• 10K – $40-45 in advance or $50 the day of the event.
• 5K – $30 in advance or $35 on race day.

For the Half-Marathon there will be cash awards for top three male and female runners. There will also be awards for top three males and females in each age group. Awards will also be given for the top five male and female runners for 5K and 10K races. Kids’s Challenge Course – There will also be a special challenge course for kids 4 to 10 years old. The course will include 10 “easy to conquer (but tons-of-fun) obstacles” for the participants.  This special event will take place10:00 am – 12 noon.  The cost is $10, which will include a race shirt and a medal.
