Choo Choo Barn’s Christmas Layout

We invite you to celebrate the season as the Choo Choo Barn transforms Traintown USA® to bring the magic of Christmas to its gigantic model train display. For the 10th year, the homes and businesses along the tracks have decked their halls to share with the public from November 10 to December 31, 2022.

We will be closed November 8th and 9th so that our family and staff can transform the layout into a winter wonderland…in just one day!

Starting November 10, search for 61 hidden Santas (one for each year we have been open) and watch as Santa’s sleigh flies above the 1,700 square foot model train extravaganza, which includes 150 hand-built animations and 22 moving trains. Enjoy the holiday decorations throughout the display including holiday lights and the snow-covered landscape. Plus, take a close look at the zoo animals in Traintown to see how they’re getting into the holiday spirit.

The Christmas layout is open 7 days a week through December 31 from 10am-4:30pm (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas days). Please note that we close early (3:00pm) on Christmas Eve. We will not be extending this event into January as we have in previous years.

Historically, the Christmas layout is very busy on the weekends, so we strongly encourage weekday visits!
