Welcome to Our 1792 Inn
Welcome to our registered historic Colonial stone house, which was founded by Swiss Mennonites in 1792 as a hotel and tavern.
Today you can relax in comfort in one of our three guestrooms. After waking up in our historic bedrooms with all the modern amenities and enjoying our sumptuous hot Lancaster County breakfasts including coffee, crispy bacon, sizzling bratwurst, eggs, assorted fruit and Amish pies and jams you can start exploring your vicinity.
The village of Schoeneck is surrounded by many Amish and Old Order Mennonite farms and my husband Gene can take you there for a bargain purchase. Our Amish neighbors offer delicious pies and cookies and fresh produce for you.
We cordially welcome small wedding groups, religious assemblies, family reunions, business travelers, and all the folks who love Lancaster county!
Minimum stay is 2 nights, extended stay possible.
We are conveniently located between Lancaster, Lebanon and Berks counties and destinations like Reading, Lebanon/Myerstown and Lancaster city are easy to reach within a 30 minute drive or less.
Wildlife Area, Antiques, and Much More Await You

On old route 272, you will find numerous antique stores to browse in. You can also go zip-lining at Refreshing Mountain Retreat Center or take a hike through the Middlecreek Wildlife Management area
Nearby are many restaurants like Shady Maple or Yoder’s Restaurant, where you can enjoy their Lancaster County smorgasbord-style dining.
Top off your evening with a wonderful show at one of our local theaters like Sights & Sound or American Music Theatre.
Whether you are coming to the area to relax and do nothing or get out and see the area, make yourself at home at the Schoeneck Hotel Bed & Breakfast!
