Marathoners and half-marathoners are invited to participate in the ninth annual Garden Spot Village marathon, a 26.2-mile USA Track & Field (USATF)-certified, Boston Marathon qualifier course through the beautiful farmlands of Lancaster County; 13.1-mile half-marathon is also available. Choose a recreational bicycle ride of 10, 21 or 43 miles or combine two routes for a metric century through Lancaster County farmland. The Lancaster Covered Bridge Classic (formerly Covered Bridge Metric Century) will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Lancaster, PA. It offers beautiful routes of 100 miles, 62 miles, 31 miles, and 15 miles. The 100 mile route option, which offers challenging climbing, is new for 2017. Each route traverses through covered bridges and past Amish farms.
