2017 is the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s “Disputation on the Power of Indulgences”, the celebrated 95 Theses sent to the Archbishop of Mainz that touched off centuries of reform in the church. As part of a yearlong celebration of this Quincentennial of the Reformation, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will present a reconstruction of Luther’s “German Mass’ during Sunday worship, including sung readings and choral music of the 16th century.
