Tour an Original Amish Farm and House
Come learn about the Amish from knowledgeable guides at the original Amish attraction, the Amish Farm & House.
Since 1955 the Amish Farm & House has helped visitors and tour groups experience what Amish life is all about. They’ll help you understand what the Amish believe and why they live the way they do. They take a respectful and authentic look into Amish culture as their tour guides take you on a room-by-room tour of an original, centuries-old Amish farmhouse.
Then, you can learn about other facets of Amish culture on a tour of their 15-acre farm. See their one-room Amish school, the farm animals, and talk with local artisans about their crafts.
Their gift shops offer locally made products and quilts for sale.
The Amish Farm & House was the first educational farm museum dedicated to the Amish culture. When you leave here you’ll have a much better understanding and appreciation of the Amish and their lifestyle and culture. It will be a memorable and an educational experience for the whole family.
The Amish Farm & House is located in Lancaster along the historic Lincoln Highway (U.S. Route 30) in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
